Farnborough State School students are invited to participate in a number of activities throughout the year. These include-
Robotics
Students are invited to join a Robotics group from years 4 - 6. Students in this group build and program robots to solve challenges. The Robotics team participate in RoboCup competitions both locally and nationally.
Gardening Club
Green Club is held every Tuesday morning for interested students and families. Additionally, students can choose to help in the garden during some lunch times.
Book Fair
Book Fair provides an opportunity for students to buy good quality books and raise money for the school at the same time.
Ride to School Day
Each year on Ride to School Day, our equestrian students and their families ride their horses and ponies to school. Our group gets an early start riding across Farnborough through the Iwasaki Grazing property to meet with the rest of the school at the front gate for pats and photos. A very impressive sight!
